Oh boy, ok, so I hope you’re enjoying your new tablet! It’s so exciting (and intimidating for some reason) to get one of those!
My first tip would be just to try and get a feel for it, so to speak. Find out what pressure sensitivity works best for you! Like how hard or soft to press down, how much stabilization you’d like on whatever program you’re using! Each person has their tablets programmed a little differently according to their way of drawing!
Another tip from me would be to just draw! It’s over said and blah blah but it’s true. The more you draw, the better you’ll get a feel for it. Drawing tablets are WAY different from paper and it will take getting used to!
This’ll sound weird, but as from where I personally learned to use the tablet was on iscribble.net. (apparently that’s unheard of, but every time I go on there i find new digital artists) The people I find on there are generally very happy to teach, and the site’s set up is a good starter for beginners / amateurs. It’s where I really learned how to use basic layers!
